About the Role

As Housekeeping Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in bringing our brand to life—helping create a guest experience that feels relaxed, welcoming, and immaculately cared for. You’ll lead by example, working alongside your team to ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation.

This is a hands-on leadership role perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is excited by the opportunity to help launch a first-of-its-kind hotel. You’ll support daily operations, coach and mentor team members, and contribute to a positive team culture built on care, connection, and pride in every detail.

From setting up the operation pre-opening to supporting service delivery each day, you’ll be central to how our guests experience Caption by Hyatt—and how our team supports one another along the way.

Some Key Responsibilities

Support the daily housekeeping operation to ensure rooms and public areas are consistently clean, safe, and on-brand

Lead by example, performing inspections, assigning tasks, and coaching the team to meet both quality and productivity targets

Respond to guest feedback and requests with empathy, professionalism, and a genuine care for people

Support pre-opening activities, including OSE setup, training, systems implementation, and onboarding of new team members

Contribute to a positive, inclusive culture where every team member feels valued and empowered

Partner across departments—especially with Front Office, Engineering, and Talk Shop—to ensure seamless guest service

Monitor supplies, manage stock levels, and help control costs in line with budget and sustainability practices

Drive wellbeing and safety culture, ensuring all team members are trained and WHS compliant

What you will bring to the role:

You’ll bring experience in a similar role, along with a calm, proactive, and supportive leadership style. You take real pride in well-presented spaces and have a strong eye for detail. Confident using systems, checklists, and reporting tools, you’re also familiar with rostering, stock control, and safe work practices.

Most importantly, you lead with a people-first mindset—showing genuine care for your team, your guests, and the community. You’re hands-on, adaptable, and ready to jump in wherever needed—especially during pre-opening and peak periods.
