JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the training and development of team members within the Housekeeping department including ongoing technical skills and Family Style Service training.
ESSENTIAL DUITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May include, but is not limited to the following)
Assist leaders with the development of housekeeping training skills Directly responsible for the training and supervision of all new housekeeping team members including room attendants, housepersons, linen runners and office Clerks Coordinate and organize inter-departmental training meetings Evaluate employees, monitor all working areas, conduct and develop specific training program for each job description in the Housekeeping Department Communicate with managers and supervisors the progress of new team members that have completed training Keep training progress records of all team members and to organize retraining when necessary Monitor housekeeping team members to be sure they are performing their job duties correctly and in a timely manner Conduct daily walk through of vacant clean and inspected rooms to monitor room attendants’ cleaning standards Exemplify our core values, family style service, our mission and vision Exemplify our DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) culture Perform other job-related duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Work is performed in an office and hotel environment such as guest rooms, hallways, closets and storage areas Work may be performed in areas that entail various conditions of hot, cold, noisy, smoky, dimly lit or brightly illuminated, moving objects and exposure to chemicals Work requires knowledge and use of electrical, mechanical and computer equipment Work may be performed alone, with others, around others, with verbal contact and/or face-to-face contact May be subject to smoking environment and moderate noise Position requires Team Member to enter & exit from the Team Member entrance which entails 4 flights of stairs (40 steps) Requires frequent crouching, kneeling, crawling, climbing, standing, balancing bending and reaching in areas from floor level to 6 ft. high, walking, sitting, repetitive use of both hands to include soft and firm/strong grasping, finger dexterity Requires normal sense of touch, smell, and sound, normal vision range and absence of color blindness. Requires eye/hand coordination Requires the ability to distinguish letters and symbols Requires the use of office equipment such as computers, telephones calculators and copiersGUEST SERVICE (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL) STANDARDS: Employee is required to meet and deliver our core values, service standards, and family style service.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
