OBJECTIVE:     

This position is responsible for cleaning all areas inside and outside of the casino . This includes the casino floor, all restrooms, and all back of house areas.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:    

The job responsibilities may be conducted in exterior and interior areas of the operation.  Exterior activities will be carried out in year-round weather conditions.  Interior work will be conducted on stage and back stage environments, including smoking areas.      

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:       

Always be NICE to fellow staff and players; find every opportunity to offer a friendly smile, wave and greeting Cleans all mirrors and glass. Cleans and polishes all surfaces, to include all areas. Cleans ashtrays and all ash/trash receptacles Removes trash from all trash receptacles. Sweeps and mops floors. Uses heavy-duty machines to extract carpet. Uses heavy-duty machines to scrub and polish floors. Cleans and re-supplies restrooms. Re-stocks casino floor cabinets and Porter pick up room. Removes cups, trays, and changes out dirty ashtrays in all Gaming areas. Sweeps and vacuums all carpet. Cleans elevators, changes out elevator mats, remove fingerprints from elevator walls, etc. Cleans and/or exchanges dirty and/or burnt and damaged Slot and Table Games chairs. Cleans bio-hazards. Adheres to safety standards, policies and procedures. Reports all unsafe conditions and required repairs to appropriate supervisor. Provides excellent player service. Professional appearance including crisp ironed department uniform, personal hygiene, and well groomed. Assists supervisors and management as requested. Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to communicate in English desired

Ability to work independently Ability to read and follow instructions CA Driver’s License with good driving record preferred

REQUIRED EDUCATION:        

A combination of education and training that would enable the person to perform the essential functions of the job

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:      

Housekeeping and/or previous cleaning experience in similar position strongly desired
