Housing Assistant – Jefferson County

We’re seeking a Housing Assistant to oversee several housing complexes we manage in Jefferson County.

As a Housing Assistant, your responsibilities include assisting with tenant certifications and recertifications, managing project finances, handling payroll, coordinating supply orders, addressing tenant concerns, aiding in facility advertising, and maintaining a positive work environment through effective communication and punctuality.

Associate’s degree in accounting or business administration, or a High School diploma with three years’ office experience, preferably in healthcare is required. Candidates should be proficient in computer hardware and software, possess strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and organizational efficiency.

Qualified candidates have a valid NYS driver’s license as travel between complexes is required.

Salary for this position ranges from $16.28 to $18.46 per hour, based on experience.
