Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Six years of experience in multi-family loan processing, residential lending, or property appraisal; housing block grants work, compliance programs, urban or regional planning, public housing management, financial management in a Section 8 program, or administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus three years of experience in multi-family loan processing, residential lending, or property appraisal; housing block grants work, compliance programs, urban or regional planning, public housing management, financial management in a Section 8 program, or administrative services; OR
A bachelor's degree plus three years of experience in multi-family loan processing, residential lending, or property appraisal; housing block grants work, compliance programs, urban or regional planning, public housing management, financial management in a Section 8 program, or administrative services; OR
An advanced degree in business or public administration, economics, finance, accounting, marketing, or quantitative business analysis plus two years of experience in multi-family loan processing, residential lending, or property appraisal; housing block grants work, compliance programs, urban or regional planning, public housing management, financial management in a Section 8 program, or administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Supervises staff in achieving program requirements and responsibilities and ensuring adequate documentation is on file for any action taken by staff.
Responsible for staying current with the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development's (HUD) regulations, rules, and guidance regarding the Section 8 Performance Based Contract Administration Program as well as, state and local requirements.
Responsible for providing program updates, guidance, training, resources, and technical assistance to staff to achieve optimal results and to meet deadlines and goals.
Responsible for putting together all reporting responsibilities to HUD.
Interact with LHC staff, HUD staff, program participants, and the public to provide appropriate responses and ensure problems are solved.
Assists in coordinating with agency management, other state agencies, local government, federal agencies, legislators, and citizens on program issues, and responds to inquiries.
