Discover more about us at www.amerihealthcaritas.com. **Responsibilities:** The housing manager will develop, implement, and manage AmeriHealth Caritas’s housing strategies and programs. Key responsibilities include: + Helping to secure housing for those members experiencing housing insecurity and homelessness. + Maintaining relationships with key government agencies, community organizations, and advocacy groups with relevant capabilities and programs that help individuals and families facing housing challenges. + Representing AmeriHealth Caritas in community meetings and workgroups relevant to our members' housing issues. + Complete administrative functions to implement new housing programs, ensure timeliness of deliverables, and monitor programs post-implementation. **Education/Experience:** + Bachelor’s Degree + 3-5 years experience working with government agencies and/or community organizations focused on housing transition and placement solutions and/or working to secure housing for individuals and families experiencing housing insecurity and homelessness. + Valid Driver’s License and current auto insurance. + Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from staff, members, funders, governmental agencies, and the general public. + Demonstrated knowledge of potential housing opportunities and how to access them (e.g., Coordinated Entry system, public housing, eviction prevention/rental assistance programs). ; + Basic keyboarding and computer literacy required. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Must also provide practical training, prepare written reports, and maintain client documentation. **Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion** At AmeriHealth Caritas, everyone can feel valued, supported, and comfortable being themselves.
