As a Housing Specialist, you will handle various program activities, including eligibility determination, leasing, re-certifications, and more. Your work will support the success of housing programs in compliance with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations.
Key Responsibilities Conduct assigned activities and transactions efficiently and accurately. Answer inquiries from participants, owners, applicants, and the general public professionally. Ensure compliance with nondiscrimination practices in all activities. Review applications and verify information to determine program eligibility. Maintain accurate and up-to-date participant records while handling sensitive information confidentially. Perform data entry to update and maintain computer files. Coordinate with supervisors, managers, inspectors, and colleagues to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Experience: Minimum of two years in customer service, public contact, mortgage processing, or accounting. Skills: Strong computer skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Core Competencies Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve issues efficiently.
