Education 

College degree from accredited institution, or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.

 

Skills and Abilities

•    Ability to communicate fluently, handle correspondence, and create procedures in English & Spanish.

•    Knowledge of accepted practices and accounting systems. Experience with Oracle, MRP preferred.

•    Ability to develop reports and communicate with management. Perform analysis and solve problems in diverse situations, to recommend solutions and savings.

•    Ability to make presentations using Excel and PowerPoint, communicate via email, and interpret management instructions in English (85%), and Spanish.

•    Work well in a team and be committed to continuous improvement.

•    Have a good attitude and initiative to perform the activities of the position.

 

Experience

•    This position requires a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience.

· In addition to the Essential Functions:

· Supervision of the general and cost accounting function for both plants.

· Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.

· Participate in room 360 discussions, when necessary, representing accounting in discussions of Labor Utilization (LU), expenses, rework, improvement plans and costs.

· Maintain ASAT files and evidence, according to the compliance schedule.

· Prepare various studies, reports, and Analysis, as requested.

· Ask questions and drive savings in all departments of the plant.

· Comply with all environmental and safety standards and rules.

· Perform other assigned tasks and responsibilities.

Assist the accountant in:

· Direct and participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, forecasts, long-term plans, tax packages and audits.

· Monitor the financial condition of the operation, including inventories, accounts receivable and cash flow.

· To perform other tasks and special tasks as necessary 

· Promotes EHS initiatives; Perform assigned SPA duties. Complies with all EHS rules required for the work environment.

· Directly communication with Shared services to maintain accounts accurate and timely reconciled.

· Maintain Internal controls of the plant along with Sr Controller.
