Global Services and Solutions (GSS) is the GTM organization focused on positioning and delivering the recurring value of the HP Solutions portfolio for customers, markets and partners. This role is responsible for driving the business planning and execution efforts as outlined in the multi-year GSS strategic plan. This involves long-term planning, business growth investments framing, development of fiscal year business plans, objectives and metrics, and execution of critical business projects. In addition, this role will be responsible for having a strong end-to-end understanding of the Solutions business and developing and representing key focus areas, narratives and business cases in various business reviews and forums to facilitate progress and execution across our CoEs and markets. Choice points should be framed and evaluated using in-depth analyses and scenario / coverage modeling to inform recommendations, develop initiatives and business plans and assess execution and impact.
The GSS Planning and Business Manager will also be responsible for tight interlock and alignment of plans, initiatives and investment funding across GSS, the Market and global functions in CO and with the HPS divisions. This individual will orchestrate key initiatives for successful framing, alignment and implementation with the business owners. And he/she will work with large, cross-functional teams to facilitate projects and collaborate across businesses to align operational strategy with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Assess business opportunities and identify recommendations to optimize business and financial performance, as tied to the GSS strategic priorities.
Apply structured problem solving and frameworks to deliver data-driven, synthesized insights to support actionable recommendations.
Drive multiple key business initiatives across functions and business segments that have enterprise-wide implications
Be a thought leader, influencer and consensus builder with the executive leadership team, functional leaders, and business unit leaders.
Work collaboratively and effectively across a global matrix organization to build alignment of business plans and ensure successful and integrated execution.
Demonstrate superior business and analytical skills with ability to draw key insights and develop clear recommendations.
Use intellectual agility and superior written and verbal communication to develop presentations, facilitate discussions, and simplify and clearly communicate complex concepts.
Lead and influence in a team setting, including extended teams.
Education & Experience Recommended
MBA or demonstrable equivalent
10+ years total experience: 7+ years post MBA experience leading business initiatives, projects, products/solutions, deals, etc.
Experience gained and strong track record in a variety of leadership roles (informal or formal) including time spent in strategy, planning and execution within global services or sales organizations and presenting to senior executive audiences.
Experience in the Tech industry, including software, XaaS, managed services offerings and/or subscription-based business models and solutions go-to-market, with a strong understanding of sales, business development and management, and operations.
The individual should have a track record of driving change and transformation, particularly around growth, and have demonstrated experience in large scale / complex project execution.
Should have the ability and desire to take on broad assignments as part of bringing strategic business plans to fruition.

Salary:
The salary range for this role is $124,000 to $180,000 annually There are additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
