The Tokio Marine HCC – Cyber & Professional Lines Group’s Cyber Underwriting Support team is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to join our team to provide underwriting support in single or multiple areas of liability, property, or special contingency coverage.
Key Responsibilities
Under immediate supervision, performs a variety of primarily routine tasks associated with the processing of new and renewal insurance policies and maintenance of agent record
Maintain departmental files and related documents including creating files, updating files, selecting files for departmental personnel, preparing files for storage, purging old files, and maintaining file logs. Files include both physical and electronic.
Order, distribute, and maintain departmental office supplies.
Assist in the underwriting process by performing various departmental tasks such as setting up files, performing data entry, scanning documents, preparing policies for distribution, and assembling product information materials.
Answer phones, forward calls, take messages, and retrieve calls from electronic voice mail.
Perform incoming and outgoing mail and fax (physical and electronic) distribution.
May perform relief work within department or for other departments, as needed.
Perform other general clerical duties such as copying, faxing, filing, scanning, answering phones, and operating departmental office equipment.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the following locations, the reasonable pay range for this specific position is New York, NY & Encino, CA, $49,760 - $59,670 annually and Mount Kisco, New York, $49,000 - $59,000 annually. The salary offered for this specific position is based on a number of legitimate, non-discriminatory factors set by the Company.
