We are seeking an experienced Pacific Sales Manager to be part of our Industrial Automation team at Honeywell Brisbane office. This role is responsible for leading and managing the entire Sales, Account Management and business development cycle for Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. This person will own the complete business metrics for the above locations not limited to opportunity funnel management, enabling project wins, bid resource planning, financial orders forecasting, account and life cycle management support. For the right person, we will consider this role to be based in Perth or Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and lead sales professionals across the country of support
· Drive a team of Account Managers to expand business growth
· Responsible for the success and growth of key accounts and drive significant contract bank, spot and service project activity
· Drive employee engagement and achieve and excel targets
· Build and drive Management Operating Systems with sales team, region leadership and support function
· Coaching and leadership support to direct reports
· Manage loads, activities, NPS, Win Rate, orders, pipeline and leads
Key Experience & Capabilities:
· Bachelor's degree in either Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or Chemistry
· At least 5+ years of sales and success leading a team in Pacific
· Experience in Energy and New Energy, Mineral, Metal and Mining, Oil and Gas, Electrification (solar and battery storage systems, hydrogen productions)
· Understands the sales process end to end
· Excellent people management skills, motivating and decisive leader
· Executive presence and self-confidence to interface and engage with key stake holders
· Proven track record in sales team management and experience in strategy, marketing, customer experience, and sales initiatives
· Recognized leader who thrives on intellectual challenge and consistently ‘raises the bar’
· Proven track record in exceeding targets
· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
· Ability to travel in locations of support
