Watts Regulator Company is seeking an Administrative Assistant to assist in the Human Resources department with confidential and sometimes sensitive administrative tasks. We are looking for an individual who is professional, efficient, and comfortable with the confidential nature of HR. The ideal candidate is organized, able to prioritize and complete concurrent tasks and can work independently. Assuring steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to the success of this position.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Creation of personnel files and disposition of termination filesFiling & auditing confidential and sensitive personnel documentsData entryEmployment verifications and requests for information, requiring use of Human Resource Information SystemsPhone calls and emails to employees, supervisors, managers and vendorsOrganize HR common areas and managing office suppliesDirect employees to the appropriate HR staff as necessaryScanning / copying / FAX / mailingEDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
Must have a very strong understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality and the proper handling of sensitive personal and medical informationProficiency in all Microsoft Office programsAbility to analyze and file alphabetically with high accuracyDetail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environmentExceptional communication skillsSuperior organizational skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely mannerWork in a manufacturing environmentWatts in it for you:
