The PositionPURPOSE OF JOB
As an HR Administration Specialist (maternity replacement) based in Sofia, Bulgaria you will provide direct end-to-end support to company employees as part of a centralized People Support Solutions (PSS) function to handle a variety of HR related activities. At Roche, the HR is about People and Culture. You will work closely with the broader People & Culture function and will provide specific country services needed to be performed in the local language or needed to have local physical presence because of the relationship with Government authorities, tax and/or labor offices. In this role, you will be working within a team of Specialists focusing on a customer group and across various functions and levels within the organization.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Main tasks including but not limited to receiving, responding and anticipating requests concerning HR practices, such as but not limited to employee life-cycle, compensation, pay, time and benefits management.
Payroll/Time
Perform all related payroll and time management activities and manage the relationship with 3rd party vendors
Sick leave management
Employee Lifecycle Management
Hiring, onboarding, offboarding - documents issuance and management, knowledge base management within the organization
Creating documents and certificates as requested by employees
Creating employment letters for leavers (e.g. certificate of employment also for ex-employees, issuing reference letters...)
Benefits Management
Administer benefits, including enrollment, deduction, and payment processing.
Set up and audit Workday or benefit administration systems, ensuring accuracy and integration.
Conduct data auditing and reporting for legal and regulatory compliance.
Support implementation of new/existing benefits programs and vendor management.
Manage benefit vendors to ensure accuracy and high service levels.
Create and update the employee internal communications and practice updates.
Act as an escalation point for benefits inquiries, ensuring end-to-end resolution.
Identify and resolve process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Core requirements
University degree in HR, Business, Economics or related field
3 years or more of related experience in Human Resources or customer service area
HR and Employment local legislation expertise,
Experienced and efficient handling of standard IT-applications, preferably Google suite
Knowledge of Workday HR Processes
Knowledge of local payroll, tax and benefit regulations
Knowledge of local statutory reporting requirements
Strong process, communication and influencing skills
Trusted partner with a strong customer orientation
Experience within an international environment is an advantage
Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
