Job Summary:
\r\n\r\n\r\nPerform administrative support to the HR team. Primary support will be in recruiting efforts.
\r\n\r\n\r\nEssential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nGreet individuals who arrive at the plant for orientation
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAnswer recruiting phone calls for application status
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAssist individuals with completing applications online
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAssist in completing pre-boarding work (WOTC, E-Verify, Background, etc.)
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nPrescreen and call new applicants to set up interviews for Live Ops and plant support groups
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nPartner with OHS on scheduled drug screenings
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nProvide a report of daily absence call-ins to plant management.
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nPrepare orientation list, check in new hires, and take them back to orientation room
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nCreate new hire files
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nEnsure employment documents are filed appropriately and in a timely manner in associates’ personnel files.
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nManage union bid positions (postings, communication, etc.)
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nUpdate appropriate trackers in Excel
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nOther tasks as assigned by HR Supervisor or HR Manager
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nStrong verbal and written communication skills
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nFunctional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nPrevious experience working with an enterprise database (e.g., SAP, ADP, Taleo)
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAbility to organize and prioritize work to be accurate, efficient, and productive under conditions that involve frequent interruptions and distractions
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nEnglish/Spanish or English/Marshallese bilingual (speak, read, and write) is strongly preferred
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nEducation & Experience:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAt least one (1) year of experience performing similar job duties, preferably in a manufacturing environment
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
