HR Administrator

Position Summary:  The Human Resources Administrator will assist with running the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department at their respective site. This can include assisting with the administration of temp staffing, recruiting, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives. 

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: 

Collaborates with the management team to identify personnel needs, job specifications, qualifications, and skills required for job openings.  Utilizes the applicant tracking system to identify and recruit candidates, and places job advertising in various media sources.  Reviews applications/resumes and facilitates phone interviews with applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.  Assists with the management of vendor relations and temporary labor tracking.  Processes background checks and associate employment verifications  Conducts new hire orientation and assists with the execution of associate recognition programs and culture events.  Accessible to all associates with providing policy clarification, answering routine HR-related inquiries, and referring complex matters to HR Manager  Maintains personnel files in compliance with records retention policy and applicable legal requirements.  Maintains HRIS database with associate information; ensures timely entry of employee and payroll related information and generates reports, as required.  Manages the employee off–boarding process, prepares employee separation notices and related documentation and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.  Manages compliance with all required training, and performance assessments.  Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned.

Education/Experience: 

High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred 1-2 years of professional experience in an HR role preferred Previous experience with temporary staffing preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines.

PAY/BENEFITS INFORMATION: Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
