HR Administrator

Weyerhaeuser is seeking an HR Administrator for the Natchitoches Engineered Wood Products manufacturing facility located in Natchitoches, LA. The HR Administrator is responsible for maintaining employee records, updating databases, ensuring compliance with employment laws, facilitating recruiting efforts, and handling day-to-day administrative tasks related to Human Resources. This is a salary non-exempt role that reports to the Mill Manager.

Key Functions

Organize and maintain personnel records.Prepare various HR documents, including new hire guides, communications, etc.Organize and maintain training records.Facilitate and coordinate new hire onboarding, including allocating assets and scheduling training.Compliance management, including adherence to employment laws, maintaining required documentation, and managing I-9 forms.Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism. Provide administrative support to the Leadership Team as necessary.Schedule meetings, prioritize appointments, and coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders.Create presentations, reports, memos, and other documents as needed.Prepare meeting agendas, materials, manage logistics, and take minutes as needed.Manage office supplies and equipment.Handle incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence.Track office expenses and maintaining budget compliance.Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in supporting an HR team/department within a manufacturing setting.Associate’s degree (or higher) in Business Administration, HR Administration, or a related field.

In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours.
