Your Role: Recruiting & HR Support
As our HR Administrator, you’ll play a key role in helping us find and welcome great employees. You’ll provide essential support throughout the hiring process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for candidates and new hires.
Key Responsibilities
+ Assist with job postings across multiple platforms to attract diverse candidates
+ Manage application tracking, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
+ Communicate with candidates to ensure a welcoming and professional hiring experience
+ Support hiring managers with interview coordination and recruitment best practices
+ Assist with new hire on-boarding, ensuring a smooth transition into the team
+ Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with hiring policies
+ Promote the co-op’s values of equity, sustainability, and collaboration throughout the hiring process

+ Experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative support (bonus points for co-op or nonprofit experience!)

Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications:
+ English and M.S. Office proficiency
+ Strong organizational, communication and administrative skills with attention to detail
+ Ability to think creatively, use innovation, ensure follow-through and the demonstrate efficiency
+ Ability to work both independently and on a team with a sense of urgency, follow direction and maintain confidentiality
+ Ability and desire to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize multiple, conflicting priorities
+ Ability to meet deadlines, coordinate projects and work varied hours and days, inc. evenings/weekends/holidays
+ High ethical standards with personal integrity
+ Demonstrated objectivity, neutrality, and calmness under pressure and timely follow-through to commitments
+ Able to remain flexible to the changing needs of the business
+ Regular, predictable attendance
Preferred Qualifications:
+ The equivalent of:
+ 1-3+ years progressive, professional Human Resources experience
+ Working knowledge of Employment Law and practices
+ Bilingual
+ Previous HRIS exposure and experience
+ Previous training and customer service experience
+ High levels of creativity, innovation, follow-through and the ability to be efficient
Physical Demands:
+ Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 10 pounds frequently, 20+ pounds occasionally
+ Manual dexterity with ability to grasp and perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists, and fingers for extended periods of time
+ Close visual acuity to focus on and/or read data and words on a computer monitor for extended periods of time
+ Ability to perform sedentary work for extended periods of time; standing and walking occasionally required
