Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor to join our team in Northampton, supporting our shared user site. As a HR advisor you will provide a comprehensive administrative function to the site while advising and providing guidance to the management team on HR practises.
This position is being offered on a full time, permanent basis, working Monday – Friday, with being mainly an on-site based role.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £37,000.00 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
Provide quality advice and consultancy support to line managers on employee relations, including managing discipline, grievance matters and end to end support of the absence management process Support the immediate and long-term needs of the site whilst delivering the HR Strategy and the site’s people plan Manage the full range of HR activities within the employee lifecycle (new starter process, current employment to termination of employment) Ensure that company standards and policies & procedures are effective and are implemented on a consisted basis across the site
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Proven experience in a similar HR Advisory role, ideally with CIPD qualifications Experience of working in a fast-paced environment would really help you in this role – no two days will be the same and you will need the ability to think on your feet A positive attitude is a MUST - we work hard, so we need to make sure we love the environment we work in and make sure this flows throughout our workforce
