HR Advisor for Internal Audit
The SVP, Human Resources Advisor (HRA) is a senior level position responsible for leading the delivery of HR services, processes, and programs to business partners in coordination with the HR function team. As an HR Advisor (HRA) for Internal Audit (IA), you will be responsible for advising senior leaders who report to Citi’s Chief Auditor on their human capital strategy and all people related matters. The HRA partners with the leadership team across a global organization and multiple teams in HR to help achieve business goals and deliver critical HR services such as talent management, performance management, and compensation planning. The HRA will collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement the people strategy and will serve as a key advisor to drive employee engagement, organizational effectiveness and leadership development. This role will also have responsibility for driving key priorities and strategic initiatives across IA HR in close partnership with the Business Execution Lead. **Responsibilities:** + Serve as a credible and trusted partner to business leaders and HR disciplines (e.g. Compensation, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion and Talent Management, Learning & Culture, and Workforce Intelligence and Talent Acquisition) to design, plan, and implement HR programs, policies, and procedures to achieve desired business objectives + Partner with senior leaders in recommending, developing, and executing their human capital strategy + Coach senior leaders on how to improve their individual leadership abilities, talent management skills, and inclusive leadership practices to strengthen culture + Assess current organizational talent and structures; ensuring employee performance is differentiated and appropriately recognized + Align people resources with appropriate business strategy + Assess, identify, and diagnose business problems and organizational design opportunities + Create, implement, and measure the effectiveness of initiatives that promote organizational and leadership capability + Develop new approaches, policies, and procedures to encourage continual improvements in business and HR efficiency/effectiveness, and lead change management initiatives + Drive key priorities and strategic initiatives across IA + Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. **Qualifications:** + 10+ years of relevant experience + Experience in collaborating and partnering across multiple and global teams + Experience partnering with senior leadership and advising on complex HR matters + Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience + Master’s degree preferred ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family Group:** Human Resources ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family:** HR Advisors & Generalist ------------------------------------------------------ **Time Type:** Full time ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location:** New York New York United States ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:** $163,600.00 - $245,400.00 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
