Job Summary:
The HR Employee Data Administration Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of employee data across the organization. This role is responsible for processing and managing employee lifecycle data changes including personal information updates, promotions, demotions, transfers, organizational corrections, and other HR-related data transactions. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to data confidentiality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and validate employee data changes
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across HR systems and platforms
Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate data updates
Maintain audit trails and documentation for all data transactions
Support HR reporting and analytics by ensuring clean and reliable data
Assist in system testing and updates related to employee data modules
Uphold data privacy and compliance standards in line with company policies and legal regulations
Identify and escalate data discrepancies or system issues as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
2+ years of experience in HR operations or data administration
Experience with Workday and ServiceNow platforms is a plus
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with employee lifecycle processes in a global or multi-location organization
Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR)
Process improvement mindset and experience with automation tools
