Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s Human Resources Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated HR Analyst.

 Reporting to the HR Senior Manager, the person in this role will support a growing team of HR Business Advisors (HRBAs) in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

This position is based in Saline, Michigan. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of this location.  Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

What you’ll be doing

Data Management

Keep the organization functioning efficiently by maintaining the Workday system. This includes making requested changes, proactively following up on missing/late approvals, and overseeing changes to completion.

Lead Workday data integrity efforts by performing routine system clean-up and maintaining job profile integrity.

Manage the electronic filing system with an eye on data integrity.

Manage the Teams channel including routine clean-up for document integrity and version control.

HR Support

Run reports, visualize data, and share information to support the HR Business Advisors including routine and ad-hoc reporting requests. Where possible, automate and auto-deliver data using system tools.  

Lead rewards programs including quarterly budget reporting, making recommendations for rewards, and entering awards for payment. 

Review, prepare and manage job requisitions through recruiting hand-off.

Draft leader and Team Member communications (emails, newsletters, verification letters).

Lead and participate in projects to improve HR operations and the Team Member experience.

Raise suggestions for process improvement, automation, and other ideas to enhance the team’s efficiency.

Customer Service

Provide exceptional customer service to the HR team, business leaders and Team Members.

Answer, problem-solve and support resolution to Team Member questions.

Support and collaborate with HR Business Advisors on special projects, including the Team Member Experience Survey and ad hoc customer sentiment activity.

Look for trends and raise opportunities to improve. 

What you bring

Associate’s degree or higher in Business, Human Resources or a closely related field or minimum of 4 years of relevant professional work experience in lieu of a degree.

A minimum of 2 years professional work experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work successfully with people at all levels.

Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where multi-tasking is required.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time, possibly higher percentage during peak periods or for critical business need.

Experience working in Human Resources

Experience with Workday HRIS.

Experience with MS Teams.
