As a Retirement Analyst, you will support the overall service delivery related activities for the People Connections Benefits Administration Retirement work stream for the 2nd largest non-profit health system in the US. This role supports employee benefits for more than 150k employees and 25k providers in 21 states.
The position will provide analytical support for the CommonSpirit retirement plans (both the defined contribution and the defined benefit plans). In this role, the Analyst will work with retirement vendors in providing direction and guidance on day-to-day plan administration, operational matters, and employee inquiries, The Analyst will perform a variety of complex administrative and coordination activities; produces and audits reports; implements processes to ensure accurate and cost-effective administration of CommonSpirit retirement plans, organization readiness, implementation and post implementation support.
**Responsibilities**
*This is a Remote Position
1. Serves as the primary customer service contact for Retirement vendors and internal partners with regard to CommonSpirit retirement plans.
2. Respond to complex Retirement inquiries or requests from internal partners, third party vendors and CommonSpirit Health participants, e.g., interpretation of plan provisions, legal requirements, etc., consulting with Lead Analyst/Manager as needed.
3. Analysis of Retirement data and ability to identify issues through regular audits, including but not limited to new employees, vesting and match eligibility, deferrals, employment dates, status, etc.
4. Audit data passed to and from vendor partners (Willis Towers Watson and Fidelity Investments) to ensure data integrity and resolve discrepancies. Work with facilities as needed on data corrections.
5. Provide direction to vendor partners on customer service inquiries.
6. Work with People Connections System Support and retirement vendors to design, develop and test enhancements within internal and external systems.
7. Coordinate program and process changes with internal teams, Payroll, and vendor partners.
8. Monitor performance of all retirement-related programs.
9. Effectively identify and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, data scope, and usage.
10. Identify and initiate programming changes as needed, e.g., new retirement requirements due to collective bargaining agreements or confirmed programming errors.
11. Assist in the development of new plan initiatives and coordinate implementation of new provisions with retirement vendors.
12. Assist in creating and editing retirement communications.

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; or a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience related to implementing and administering employee retirement plans; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Broad knowledge of defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans, with at least two years of experience in benefits
+ Strong analytical, mathematical, and financial skills, with two years of experience in a position requiring data manipulation expertise.
+ Demonstrated ability to exercise independent initiative and judgment, identify and resolve problems, and prioritize workload to ensure timely and accurate results.
+ Must be detail-oriented, organized and flexible; able to perform multiple, unrelated tasks accurately with minimal supervision and work under conditions of tight deadlines and frequent interruptions.
+ Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment; strong teamwork skills and strong customer service orientation.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent computer skills including Google Workspace, MS Excel, HRIS and retirement administration programs.
**Pay Range**
$27.77 - $40.27 /hour
