Position: HR Assistant
Location: Little Canada, MN
Job Summary
Beacon Hill's client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support their recruitment, benefits and various HR functions. In this role, you will contribute to attracting and onboarding top talent while ensuring employees have access to comprehensive and well-administered benefits. This position is integral to fostering a positive employee experience and supporting the organization's HR initiatives. This role is an entry point to tremendous growth potential within the HR team.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.Post job openings, manage applications, and maintain candidate tracking systems.Conduct initial screenings and coordinate interview schedules.Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process, providing updates and feedback.Benefits Administration
Assist with enrollment and management of employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.Respond to employee inquiries and maintain accurate benefits records.Support annual benefits enrollment and prepare related reports and materials.General HR Support
Maintain confidentiality of employee information.Provide administrative assistance to the Director of Operations.Facilitate onboarding for new hires, including orientation and documentation.Assist in organizing employee engagement initiatives and training sessions.Support payroll functions and ensure the Employee Handbook remains up-to-date.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).Experience in HR, recruitment, or benefits administration is a plus.Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR software (e.g., applicant tracking systems).Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
