Looking for a terrific place to build your career? Our Reston, VA office is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support our Human Resources team. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities Assist our HR Team with onboarding and integration tasks including pre-employment paperwork, background checks and drug tests for new hiresComplete I9 verifications, prepare and distribute new hire binders and schedule orientationAssist our Recruiters with job postings, HRIS support, career fair coordination, candidate interview coordination and travel arrangementsSchedule in-house and video interviews; coordinate candidate travel arrangements and logistics as neededReview and submit travel reimbursements for in-house interview candidatesUse the HRIS system to prepare correspondence, reports, and materials for publications and presentationsAudit new-hire training reports (i.e., Anti-Harassment, employee handbook, Safety program, and Cybersecurity)Manage calendars, schedule meetings/conference calls, prepare meeting agendas and compile meeting minutesOrganize and maintain the HR supply room and order suppliesMaintain hard copy and electronic filing system (HRIS)Perform other administrative tasks as needed Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills; strong punctuation and grammar skillsProficient in MS Office Suite; highly proficient in Excel, Word, and OutlookProficient in Adobe AcrobatPositive, client-orientedCollaborative and team-orientedHighly organized and detail-orientedCapable of managing and balancing multiple tasks/priorities in a fast-paced, deadline driven environmentAttention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential informationPrevious Human Resources experience preferred Why Kimley-Horn?
