Responsibilities HR (Human Resource) Assistant Opportunity Provo Canyon School, with locations in Springville and Provo UT, is a 24/7 secure behavioral health treatment center for adolescents aged 13 through 17. We coach, teach and mentor students who have psychiatric disorders. Our goal is to provide treatment that results in positive changes, allowing these youth to return to their families and communities. To learn much more please visit www.provocanyon.com Full Time: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, Non-Exempt hourly w/full benefits package Salary Scale: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour dependent on education and work experience Your benefits and perks include: Full PAID training program provided Comprehensive benefits package includes generous Paid Time Off and Extended Leave Plans FREE healthy and delicious meals during your shift and free parking Tuition/Educational Assistance paid annually $3,000 Your position objectives include: Assist the Human Resource Director with all projects and assignments as needed Prepare and coordinate with new hires to complete required paperwork and file all paperwork in appropriate files Assist in the maintenance of all personnel files for current and terminated employees Prepare 90-day and initial competency evaluations and coordinate the necessary documentation with each department head Verify all professional licenses, and maintain a licensure tracking system Coordinate new hire orientation including classroom setup, instructor schedules, documentation, media Qualifications Your Qualifications will include: High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor's degree in HR preferred) HR Certification preferred; experience with HR Information Systems preferred Must be a minimum 21 years of age or older Conflict resolution skills, resiliency and patience Ability to pass criminal history background check and drug screen EEO Statement - We believe that diversity and inclusion among our teammates is critical to our success.
