Human Recourses Assistant

Distribution Center Address: 1410 Gordon Food Service Dr., Plant City, FL 33563

Position Summary:

Provides administrative HR support including onboarding assistance, benefits and wellness administration, communication, coordination of company events, and additional project support for HR.  

HR Administration & Compliance: Manages HR data, records, reporting, invoices, billing, and ensures compliance with onboarding, offboarding, and unemployment claims.

Event & Program Coordination: Supports planning, logistics, and execution of HR events, including training, wellness programs, open enrollment, and employee culture initiatives.

Employee & Recruiting Support: Assists with recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, and employee engagement efforts.

General Administrative Support: Schedules meetings, directs inquiries, prepares presentations, distributes materials, and assists with special projects.

Other Duties: Performs additional tasks as assigned.

Does this look like you?

One to two years previous administrative experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.  Knowledge of human resources regulations and guidelines preferred.

Proficient knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, email, internet software

Knowledge of or ability to learn HRIS, applicant tracking software, Electronic Filing software and other GFS HR systems
