Pay Range: $55000 - $60000 / year
Position Summary
The HRIS Administrator is responsible for all administrative and clerical support for the HR Department. This role will assist in all areas of Human Resources including, but not limited to onboarding, HRIS, recruitment, employee relations and compliance.
Primary/Essential Responsibilities and Duties
• Respond to employment/income verifications, employee record requests, child support and garnishment orders
• Support all unemployment inquiries and partner with unemployment insurance vendor to submit claim information, answer questionaries, follow up with internal management and coordinate with HR Managers for unemployment hearings
• Respond/direct corporate HR phone/email requests
• Manage incoming/outgoing human resources mail (create FedEx shipping labels)
• Process invoices for HR vendors and manage the corporate HR credit card charges
• Maintain sensitive employee information and lifecycle changes with confidentiality
• Manage and track employee referral program
• Create US offer letters and administer background checks through third party vendor
• Provide support to HR and Benefits teams
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
• HRIS and ATS experience a plus
• Familiarity with HR terminology
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Must be able to work independently
• Effective communication skills, oral and written
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner as well as gather and analyze information skillfully
• Effectively communicate with people in potentially stressful situations
• Must maintain confidentiality and work effectively with others including management, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company
• Must be able to prioritize, plan work activities and work consistently and dependably
• Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, and manage frequent change, delays or unexpected events
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
• Works in an office environment
• Frequently sits for long periods of time
• Reports to Office minimum 3 days a week
• Frequently speaks, reads, writes, and uses a computer keyboard
• May require occasional standing, walking, lifting, stooping, or bending
