Job Description
The Associate, Human Resources & Corporate Services will ensure HR operational service and delivery activities are continuously maintained and improved. The role involves managing core HR data systems, platforms, and software to maintain employment information, data processing, and other HR operational workflows spanning the employee lifecycle. Additionally, the candidate will participate in various HR & Corporate Services projects and serve as vacation back-up for the Corporate Services team.
ResponsibilitiesRun bi-weekly payroll in ADP WFN, communicate payroll guidelines, and escalate anomalies to maintain data integrity.Manage job postings, support hiring needs, and oversee onboarding documentation and employment filing systems.Support year-end compensation reviews, prepare analytics, and interface with line managers.Interpret policies, determine eligibility, and liaise with third-party benefit providers.Prepare HRIS data, dashboards, and compliance reports. Contribute to database integrity and data security.Onboard and manage HR contracts in the vendor management system (Coupa).Administer health & safety programs, compliance, and training.Provide timely and accurate resolutions to HR policy inquiries.Maintain organization charts, coordinate employee programs, and participate in HR & Corporate Services initiatives.Maintain proper working papers and electronic files.Ensure successful operation of HR processes, physical assets, and premises.Essential Skills3-5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience (financial institution experience preferred).2 years of payroll processing experience in ADP Workforce Now.Knowledge of HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors and Kronos experience is an asset).Understanding of Canadian employment/labor laws.Strong reasoning, analytical, and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in HR support, onboarding, recruiting, and HR administration.Experience with HR vendor management (Coupa).Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing environments in a Schedule II Bank.Work Environment
The role requires working 3 days in the office. The work environment includes the use of HR systems and software, and adherence to health and safety compliance and training. The dress code is professional.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
