The HR Associate is responsible for providing HR administrative support across the countries they support, partnering closely with the relevant HRM on the ground. Their knowledge of all core HR related topics impacting the employee life cycle will be key to deliver a fast and accurate level of service to employees. They may support country or regional projects or initiatives aimed at improving service delivery and employee experience.
This is a contract role on 3rd Party payroll. Contract Duration: 06 months ONLY
About the Role
In this role as HR Associate, you will:
Always provides a high level of customer service.
Manages the HR Inbox for area of responsibility and delegates as/if necessary.
Is responsible for administrative activities as part of the employee life cycle including producing relevant documentation (e.g., new hires, leavers, transfers, promotions etc and coordinates with relevant stakeholders to ensure proper execution of all associated tasks)
Drafts and issues routine documentation (such as employment verification, reference letters, business invitations etc.)
Manages benefit renewal and administration (such as medical scheme membership and sports club subsidies)
Completes daily benefit enrolment audits where needed and processes ad hoc benefit and pension changes.
Manages the Purchasing Order and Invoice payment for HR/Benefit expenses in the countries of responsibility
Is responsible for local statutory reporting requirements in the countries of responsibility
Provides admin support of the recruitment and onboarding of candidates
Supports admin relating to the relocation of employees
Reports on and manages fixed term contracts that are ending (ensuring the employee being terminated or extended in the HR System Workday and the associated paperwork is produced)
Liaises and partners closely with our payroll team to ensure changes are affected in a timely manner and in line with payroll deadlines
Manages Workday tasks or delegates to the team as appropriate, and manages progress on the outstanding actions
Files soft copies of documents into employee files held on the HR SharePoint for the relevant country, adhering to data protection requirements as appropriate.
Provides admin support to country or regional HR projects
About You
You’re a fit for the role of HR Associate if your background includes:
Minimum of two years of experience into HR Services / HR Operations
Fluent English
Relevant Undergraduate degree
Working experience in Workday is required
Experience into activities of employee life Cycle.
Experience working with Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
