Qualifications
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of group benefit programs (health, dental, vision, short and long term disability, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, retirement plans, and voluntary benefits) as well as FMLA administration. Provides analytical and technical support in the delivery of the benefit programs. Administers all new and updated benefit plan enrollments and is responsible for maintenance and accuracy of the PeopleSoft Benefits Administration module. Has a thorough and complete understanding of Parkview’s benefits structure, including eligibility and how co-worker and system changes impact eligibility status and individual benefit changes across the spectrum of all benefit elections and options. Performs daily audit and analysis of the Ben Admin system to ensure data integrity. Independently identifies and troubleshoots issues, investigates root cause, determines appropriate course of action and corrects the PeopleSoft HR system. Integral in the preparation for and execution of Parkview's annual online Open Enrollment including, but not limited to, testing of new programs, preparation of communications and coordination and administration of appropriate OE workflow. Serves as the subject matter expert for benefits and HR records and is the main point of contact for HR staff. Acts independently and appropriately in their decision making and follow through/resolution of all benefit, Ben Admin and co-worker issues. Provides excellent customer service and timely follow up to all customers. As part of the Human Resources Department, is responsible for communicating effectively with internal and external customers in person and on the phone regarding benefits, policies, procedures and other related topics. Thoroughly understands how Ben Admin and changes to records integrates with, and impacts, Payroll and TPAs. Is anticipated to meet the needs of customers as well as maintain a high level of service in the HR department with the expectation of being able to demonstrate multitasking abilities in a fast paced environment. Collaboratively works with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and engagement at all levels. Completes special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource, Business, or related field.
Must have a minimum of four years prior experience in Human Resources, preferably in benefits and/or HR systems - operations.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and data maintenance.
Strong computer skills with experience in Windows based software including proficiency in Excel and Word.
Ability to analyze a set of data and identify inconsistencies.
Ability to prioritize and consistently meet deadlines with competing demands.
Knowledge of benefit contract language.
Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements both adopted and pending affecting coworker benefit programs (DOL, ERISA, etc).
