We are seeking an HR Business Partner to join our HR team in the headquarters office location in Salt Lake City, Utah. You will be an excellent fit for this position if you have the skills and experience necessary to: + Handle all HR matters for an assigned division or area of the company. + Improve work relationships, build engagement, increase productivity, attract and retain talent within the assigned area of responsibility. + Facilitate and assist with implementing change management & organizational development activities. + Partner with management to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of HR services/programs. + Provide support to develop annual HR strategic plan, budget and initiatives for the assigned business. + Partner with Business Leaders to define a Talent Identification & Management strategy/approach that works for their specific group. + Counsel and coach leaders and employees on various matters. + Communicate to managers and employees' relevant changes in HR policies and programs. + Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, performance interventions, job design, employee relations. + Ability to multi-task across multiple Human Resource disciplines. + Solid presentation, conflict resolution, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. + Ability to create and/or analyze reports. + Strong customer service, influence and negotiation skills. + Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity and creativity to changing needs and situations. + Ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people. + Ability to work with highly confidential information daily. + Possess strong initiative, follow-up, feedback and timely decision-making skills. + Ability to champion HR programs despite resistance. Who should apply? + Requires a bachelor's in human resources, Business or a related field and 2+ years' experience in employee relations, employee retention, human resource process and procedures, unemployment, workers compensation, FMLA, local, state and federal laws and requirements or other directly related experience. + Experience with organizational development and change management projects preferred. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements. + Working knowledge of HR practices, principles, applications, methods and laws. + Strong MS Office and HRIS skills required. + Advanced in Microsoft Excel. + Flexible, team-player able to adapt to changing priorities.
