The Role We are looking for a talented Human Resources Business Partner to join Edelman on a 12 month contract starting in January 2025. The ideal candidate will currently be an experienced HR professional who is business focused, commercially astute and able to being a flexible way of working to the role. You will be comfortable building strong client relationships quickly and have gained experience working in a very fast-paced dynamic working environment. You must have a proactive and positive approach as you will be working with a range of client groups and senior stakeholders with different HR requirements. Responsibilities: Provide strategic HR business partnering to the client groupsServe as a strategic partner and act as the interface between HR and business leaders, managers and hiring managersWork across the HR structure to deliver an integrated HR offer to the businessCoach internal clients and stakeholders on effective team building, performance management and culture initiatives both reactively and proactivelyRecommend and approve solutions for addressing poor performance or behaviour and for motivating, developing, and retaining talentUnderstand and display good judgment regarding the overall business, applicable laws and policies, internal and external culture and valuesServe as an advocate and champion for diversity and inclusion initiatives  Live Edelman values, leading by example and serve as an ambassador of the company brandConsistently measure and analyze program effectivenessExperience:  Must be comfortable with ambiguity, craves autonomy with the ability to gain buy in and trustGeneralist HR experience in a dynamic, fast paced environmentTrack record of building excellent relationships and credibility with business leaders based on solid commercial understanding and an ability to identify customer needs and go beyond just delivering defined HR solutionsStrong communication, engagement, and interpersonal skills – delivers impactful messages and influences outcomesAbility to get work done and make a difference i.e., performing and delivering business-oriented HR solutions and approaches through influence, coordination, and individual effortA relevant HR or business-related degree and post graduate qualificationKnowledge of UK employment legislation and experience in labour relations#LI-TL99We are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t perfectly align with every qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway.
