HR Business Partner

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Labor/Employee Relations, Business, Organizational Development, or Psychology from an accredited institution.Minimum of five years of HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is required.One year Labor Relations experience required.

  Preferred Qualifications (For this position to be successful):

Strong ability to multi-task and connect at all levels in the organization.Strong project management skills.Requires excellent oral, interpersonal and written communications skills, familiarity with HR information systems, demonstrated proficiency in computer software programs.Experience with Microsoft including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Job Summary 

This position provides advice and counsel to internal partners on strategies, policies and programs related to employee engagement, talent development, succession planning and other general human resource topics for the Hampton Operations. 

 Essential Duties & Responsibilities, not limited to:

Provides HR support to location, including recruiting, employee relations, incident investigations, talent development, HRIS updates, discipline, coaching/mentoring, etc.Advising, counseling, and supporting all operations in adhering to and enforcing corporate and local operations, HR policies.Assist with onboarding new employees to include entering data in various systems.Ensuring compliance with HR policies and practices, as well as complying to federal and state employment laws and regulations.Responsible for recruitment and retention activities for employees, this includes full cycle recruiting, providing data and analysis to support key HR initiatives.Assisting with creating and implementing strategic HR programs and communications. Participation in counseling and termination proceedings.Ensure all activities are strategic and in compliance with our equal employment policies and practices.Assists with AAP reports.Ensuring positive organization development by leveraging best practices and change management techniques.Assists with training and development including hourly on-boarding.Responsible for providing various metrics for location.Assist with managing NES workforce performance evaluations.Other duties as assigned.
