HR Business Partner
Key responsibilities Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with senior management to understand business objectives and develop HR strategies that support organizational goals. Employee Relations: Act as a liaison between employees and management, handling employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions while ensuring fair and consistent treatment. Talent Acquisition and Retention: Develop and implement effective recruitment and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent. This may involve conducting interviews, negotiating job offers, and implementing onboarding programs. Performance Management: Design and implement performance management systems to ensure that employees receive regular feedback, coaching, and development opportunities. This includes conducting performance reviews and providing guidance on performance improvement plans. Training and Development: Identify training needs within the organization and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies. This may involve coordinating with external training providers or developing in-house training materials. Employee Engagement: Develop initiatives to foster a positive work environment and improve employee morale and engagement. This may include organizing team-building activities, recognition programs, and employee surveys. Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the design and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain employees. This includes benchmarking salaries, managing employee benefits programs, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. HR Policy Development and Compliance: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with legal requirements and align with organizational values. This includes staying up-to- date with labor laws and regulations. Change Management: Support organizational change initiatives by communicating changes effectively, addressing employee concerns, and helping employees adapt to new processes or systems.
HR Metrics and Analytics: Utilize HR metrics and analytics to track key performance indicators and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives. This may involve analyzing turnover rates, employee engagement scores, and other relevant metrics. HR Business Partnering: Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, providing insights and recommendations on people-related issues and helping to drive business success through effective human capital management. Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity and inclusion within the organization by implementing initiatives to attract and retain a diverse workforce, fostering a culture of inclusivity, and addressing any barriers to diversity and inclusion. Succession Planning: Develop and implement succession planning strategies to ensure a pipeline of talent for key roles within the organization. This may involve identifying high-potential employees, providing them with development opportunities, and creating career paths. HR Technology: Leverage HR technology solutions to streamline HR processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance the employee experience. This may involve implementing and managing HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems, and other HR software tools. Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other HR professionals and departments to ensure a coordinated approach to HR initiatives and to share best practices and resources.
You bring these skills, experience & education
Higher vocational level in Human Resources Management or University level in Social or legal Studies HR Information Systems -Driving HRIS tools (global functionality) and managing local payrolling, self-service tools.
Dutch (fluent), English (excellent)- Communication to all stakeholders (local Plants, international SIG/P&C community)
Expert in applying group/individual labor legislation (incl. CLA) and manage formal Work council processes.
