Job Description
The Plant Human Resources Business Partner will be directly responsible for overseeing the day to day HR activities in our Hillsboro plant. This position will also assist with administrative requirements to support plant operations. This position will report to the Plant Manager and the Regional HR Manager.
*This role is based in Hillsboro,TX (this is not remote position.)

Partner in the effective execution of the plant strategies to meet business goals, and provide feedback and support on all employee related issues at the siteAdvise employees and management personnel on the interpretation of Company policies, programs and proceduresResponds to all internal and external HR inquiries at the plantWorks with plant leaders to resolve minor employee issues and conflict resolutionWill develop and propose improvements to policies, programs, and procedures to improve the effectiveness of the human resources administration practice and safetyWork with Corporate Benefits to ensure delivery of benefits for eligible employees in the plant. Manage claims administration including Workers Compensation, Short Term Disability and the Return to Work programsMaintains employee related records within the Workday systemAccountable for full-cycle recruiting and on-boarding of hourly employeesOversee Kronos timekeeping and assists with payroll administrationCoordinates all site recognition and social eventsAssist the Plant H&S Department with administrative dutiesCovid case management and contact tracing requirement experienceOther projects and/or duties as may be assignedOUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;
Bachelors Degree required and a minimum of 7+ years in a HR Coordinator or Specialist role within a manufacturing environmentProfessional designation in Human Resources is preferredDemonstrated leadership and management capabilities in an environment of rapid changeComprehensive knowledge of employment, industrial labor relations, and occupational safety legislationExposure to payroll processes and practicesThe ability to organize the workload and manage multiple tasks effectivelyAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office productsFamiliarity with HRIS, time and attendance systems (Workday and Kronos preferred)#LI-BC
