Are you seeking your next challenge in the HR sector, and does the dynamic world of logistics services appeal to you? We are currently searching for an HR Business Partner who will operate in locations in Schiphol-Rijk, Hilversum, and Veenendaal.
As HR Business Partner you and your HR colleagues are the point of contact for managers and employees when it comes to HR at your location. In this role you give advice on various HR issues. You will work closely with the HR team (HR Manager, HR Advisor and HR Administration) and with HR colleagues from other GXO locations.
Within this role, you will have the opportunity to actively and visibly contribute to various developments within HR and personnel policy. We are looking for someone with experience who can independently pick up a scope of their own.
What you do on a typical day
• You work on operational, tactical and strategic levels within the organization
• You are engaged in advising, supporting and coaching managers in onboarding, employee life cycle and offboarding
• You are involved in recruitment and selection of new employees, supervision of improvement processes in case of dysfunction, and training of employees.
• You assist the managers in conducting (complex) discussions in the field of absenteeism, performance management and training and development.
• You answer employees' questions regarding HRM policy and you are an expert in the Dutch Labor Law
• You strive for optimal professionalization of the HR services for the benefit of the client, employees and stakeholders and put your knowledge and skills to use.
What do you need to be successful at GXO
• You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or etc
• You have 7+ years of work experience in a similar position
• You have up-to-date and solid Labor law knowledge
• You have experience in leading a team
• You have experience in working in a start-up organization
• You have strong communication skills in Dutch and English (verbal and written). Fluency in English is a must.
• You are stress-resistant, proactive and result oriented. You have a down-to-earth personality.
