This important partnering role provides high quality generalist support and advice to leaders based on an in-depth understanding of the operational priorities, business strategy, workforce needs and desired culture. With experience working in fast-paced, production floor-intense environments, this role provides the necessary people tools, policies, programs and guidance to develop leaders, engage the team, manage risk and lift performance.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition-
Recruitment for diverse range of skills and expertise from production line workers to engineers, technicians, quality control specialists, and operations managers in the plant.Talent sourcing to skill assessment, collaborating with Stakeholders in the plant to ensure filling of roles and coaching them on best practices in recruitment in alignment with company’s DEI policy.Operational HR-
Coach leaders in effective recruitment, performance management, team feedback and coaching, and handling of industrial relations issues, disciplinary and grievance processes (including investigations as required)Contribute of cyclical people management processes (e.g. annual remuneration reviews, performance planning and reviews, onboarding, offboarding, etc.) to optimise rigour and impact.Identify and track relevant people metrics to gauge health of designated areas and identify corrective actions.Develop and maintain positive Employee stakeholder group relationships including, Union and site Representative Committee collaboration.Strategic HR
Lead people components of major organisational change (e.g. automation) to deliver growth and efficiencies in designated BU/Functions.Identify, design and deliver specific interventions to enhance performance, reduce risk, and deliver desired business change and cultural outcomes.Participate and contribute to the debate on people impacts of business decision-making for designated areas, helping to ensure company goals and team member interests are both addressed.Personal leadership
