A Hybrid working model

Now offices are fully open we have embraced a hybrid working model, which allows our employees to split their time between the office and other locations, something we hope will provide everyone much more flexibility to their working week. The expectation is that working life at Hogarth will involve working from the office for an average of 4 days per week for most people. Department Summary

What does a HR Business Partner do at Hogarth?

The HR Business Partner plays a vital role within the People Team. Acting as the main point of contact for your business areas, you will deliver a proactive, commercially driven HR support and guidance to our employees and the wider business.

You will have operational support from our HR Coordinators an a HR Advisor.

What does a HR Business Partner do at Hogarth? 

Some of the key responsibilities of the HR Business Partners are;

Supporting and advising, line managers and business leaders on all aspects of organisational design and change management, including TUPE and team restructures. Advising and coaching managers through employee relations matters. Partnering with line managers to build their competence and confidence in enabling them to effectively lead their team. Acquire an in depth understanding of your business units and their people challenges, providing a proactive and commercially aligned support service that is tailored to their needs. Interpret and cascade the UK HR strategy, implementing initiatives at a local level for your business units and their needs. Effectively partner and collaborate with Finance and Talent Acquisition on wider recruitment process and strategies. Undertake and manage projects and new initiatives where identified including but not limited to employee engagement and recognition, leadership development, talent identification and development and organizational change. Informally mentor junior members of the People Team, helping to guide their development and leveraging their skills to ensure a pro-active, effective and efficient People Team experience.

Reporting lines and key stakeholders

This role reports to the UK Head of HR, based in London. 

You will work closely with all People Team and support the relevant stakeholders and leads across your dedicated business areas.

This role will be based predominantly at our Brewhouse Yard office, but you’ll also spend time at our other central London locations.

Requirements

Strong business acumen and ability to provide HR advice in a commercially sensitive and appropriate way. Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, with the ability to inspire confidence in the management and leadership team, and key stakeholders both within and outside of the People Team. Naturally collaborative in outlook; openly shares both information and credit. Confidence in navigating challenges and change with resilience, creativity and positivity Strong employee relations knowledge with practical experience of manage complex cases to resolution. A commercial and pragmatic outlook, coupled with the ability to communicate effectively and translate people initiatives into business language. Result and resolution focused with the ability to think laterally to find original solutions to potential challenges.
