The role
As a HR Business Partner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll play a crucial role in providing strategic and operational support on all day-to-day matters.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with the Business Units Contract Director to strategically align HR and Business Operations. Ensuring all HR practices, initiatives and decisions are directly linked to and actively support the overall strategic goals and objectives of the business. You will support the HR Director and Senior HR Business Partner on complex operational cases and will need to be able to manage large projects from recruitment to redundancy and TUPE. 

 

Work closely with the business to ensure that the local business plan is met through local people solutions Coach and challenge Contract Directors whilst developing relationships Influence and shape strategy based on analytical insights Identify areas of opportunity, create solutions to support the employee experience Identify and implement mechanisms to support talent management, performance management, workforce planning and reward, renumeration structures

 

This position involves travel/working across a range of internal and customer sites, as and when required

 

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based at Royal School of Military Engineering (RSME) at Minley, which is situated 3 miles to the southwest of Fleet and 3 miles to the southeast of Farnborough


Essential experience of the HR Business Partner:

Experience of leading an HR conversation across a large, diverse and complex organisation, delivering all aspects of Business Partnering Evidence of Employee and Industrial Relations success. Working with Trade Unions A sound understanding of Employment Law, combined with experience in local change management.  Experience managing large projects

 

Qualifications for the HR Business Partner:

CIPD would be desirable or equivalent experience
