If you're driven by collaboration and delivering quality work, join Rexel USA as a HR Business Partner! **The position of HR Business Partner will be based out of our Orlando, FL location!** Summary The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a partner to business leaders, aligning HR strategies with business objectives to drive organizational success. The HRBP will provide expert advice on employee relations, talent management, organizational development, and succession planning, ensuring compliance while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. This role requires an understanding of the business, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence and guide leadership decisions. What You’ll Do + Implement HR Strategies: Implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy, acting as a trusted advisor to management + Employee Relations: Provide guidance on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment + Talent Management: Support talent management initiatives, including succession planning, and the recruitment and selection process to ensure the business attracts, hires, develops, and retains high-quality talent + Performance Management: Oversee and support the performance management process to drive high performance and support career development + Compliance: Ensure legal compliance with labor laws and regulations, company policies and procedures, mitigating risks and ensuring adherence + HR Systems and Procedures: Monitor HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures + Culture and Environment: Nurture a positive working environment by maintaining a strong company culture consistent with Rexel's values + Compensation and Benefits: Support the implementation and ensure compliance of compensation and benefits plans + Manager Coaching and Development: Provide coaching and support to managers on effective people management practices, including performance feedback, conflict resolution, and team development. Assist managers in identifying and addressing employee performance issues, and support them in implementing appropriate performance improvement plans + Career Development: Facilitate career conversations with both managers and employees to ensure that employees receive timely and relevant skill development opportunities + People Analytics: Provide decision support through people analytics, utilizing HR metrics to inform business decisions + Local and National Focus: Lead HR initiatives with both a local and national focus, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals + Other duties as assigned The information contained in this job description is intended to describe the essential job functions required of those assigned to this job. What You’ll Need + Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field + 5+ years of progressive HR experience or related business experience + 2+ years in a strategic HR role or as an HR Business Partner preferred + HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is also preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities + Strong business acumen and understanding of business operations + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization + Proven experience in talent management, organizational development, and change management + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions + Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws and regulations + Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment + Strategic thinker with a proactive and solution-oriented approach + High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality + Strong leadership and coaching skills Working Conditions and Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
