Build Your Career with Us! We are seeking an experienced and driven HR Business Partner to join our award-winning team!
This role will provide both strategic and operational HR partnership to leaders within BGIS’ largest Account Team. Reporting into this position is a Talent Acquisition Business Partner supporting the same client group.
This role partners closely with business leaders, ensuring effective workforce planning and guidance on employee relations and engagement to align with business goals. Based in Sydney CBD, this is a hybrid work model—two days in the office, one day client-site and two days from home.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Business Partnering – Advise managers on performance management, workforce planning, and employee relations. Talent Acquisition Leadership – Oversee and support the TA Business Partner to drive effective hiring strategies. Employee Relations and Compliance – Manage workplace investigations, HR escalations, and compliance with Australian employment law. Workforce Planning and Talent Strategy – Identify talent gaps, succession planning, and workforce optimisation opportunities. Engagement and Culture – Lead initiatives that enhance workplace culture, employee engagement, and retention. HR Policies and Processes – Ensure HR policies align with legislation and business objectives. Data and Reporting – Utilise HR analytics to improve decision-making and track key HR and TA metrics. Capability Development – Support leaders with coaching, training, and leadership development. Change Management – Drive business transformation and ensure smooth change implementation.About you:
Proven HR business partnering experience, ideally with exposure to Talent Acquisition. Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, employee relations, and workforce planning. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in HRIS and recruitment systems. Qualification in HR or related field (advantageous).Why Join Us?
