We achieve our results and provide the adequate support to our clients through an efficient partnership with other internal stakeholders like Candidate Experience (Recruitment), Payroll or the Compensation & Benefits team. 

 HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE   

As People Experience Associate, you will be a value adding and integrated member of the local People Experience (HR) team, reporting to the People Experience Lead BioPharma for Benelux-Ireland. Together with the PX Sr Manager – Employee Relations (also based in Capelle) you will closely cooperate with the wider global People Experience organization and the local country organization (+/- 220p) on different projects and initiatives.

Your priority focus will be on providing People Experience support to the PX team and to Leaders, as well as project management, in line with our values and business model. 

As you grow in role, you could be assigned a specific business group, to which you will also provide in-depth People Experience expertise and be a trustful partner on all relevant PX topics, tasks, and activities in the Netherlands, leading or supporting initiatives as needed, in line with the global PX agenda.

Key responsibilities – PX (HR) Associate:

Provide operational support to the PX team and to Leaders to ensure an optimal execution of (annual) PX processes, programs and activities (performance management, compensation processes, career management (Growth), employment contracts, employees labor law related processes (e.g., disciplinary cases, PIPs, restructuring, court claims), in alignment with global and country practices

Acts as a liaison for Candidate Experience, Global Compensation, GBS HR Core Services & Payroll and ensures client alignment

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, make recommendations and implement, in partnership with Centers of Excellence’s & Pfizer Colleague Services

Oversight of Personnel Administrative activities & templates in close cooperation with the supporting hubs

Ensure an accurate follow-up of all PX administration

Maintenance of HR vendors contracts, HR policies, labor law documents and templates to reflect legislation changes.

Complete administrative tasks relevant to Pos and invoice allocations of HR services.

Update monthly list of changes for payroll processing

Update People Experience information and policies as required

Prepare, publish and/or develop communication on PX topics

Based on the site / functional needs, lead and/or contribute to local / global PX initiatives or projects that foster our culture and support business achievements

Ensure compliance with local regulatory / labor requirements and internal corporate guidelines by maintaining the appropriate tools and controls.

Based on needs & opportunities, provide support to and/or be actively engaged in our Cluster (Benelux/Ireland) or Europe PX initiatives.

Other tasks as required

  WHAT WE EXPECT    

Must-Haves:

HBO or Bachelor degree, by preference in Business/economics, Psychology or HR Management.

Language Requirements: Dutch and English (both fluent

Ideally 1 to 2 years of professional experience, by preference in a human resource function  

Knowledge of Workday is an asset

Strong motivation to grow within HR

Ability to handle multiple priorities and have a strong sense of business ethics including the ability to appropriately handle confidential information.

An inclusive approach, embracing a wide range of perspectives, enjoying getting things done while bringing energy.

Flexibility and a high focus on simplicity

Empathy and ability to interact with different personalities, perspectives, and profiles.
