Together, we transform the way complex, large-scale systems are designed, delivered, and sustained–enhancing client outcomes, improving lives, and changing the world for the better. **Summary:** Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a strategic role in aligning human resources practices with business objectives to drive organizational success. With a foundation in Talent Acquisition and Recruitment, this role is responsible for providing HR guidance to business leaders, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring the effective implementation of HR initiatives across our engineering, construction, and telecommunications strategic business unit. Additionally, the HRBP must have expertise in talent acquisition, playing a key role in workforce planning and recruiting strategies. Responsibilities + Partner with business leaders to align with corporate HR and implement HR strategies. + Act as a trusted advisor on talent management, talent acquisition, workforce planning, and employee relations. + Collaborate with leadership to drive engagement, retention, and implement career development programs. + Provide guidance and implement annual performance management, coaching managers on best practices. + Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies. + Partner with corporate HR to implement initiatives, including performance management, promotion processes, succession planning, leadership development, benefit changes and open enrollment. + Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven recommendations to improve business performance. + Support change management efforts to drive business transformation. + Lead recruitment efforts, partnering with hiring managers to develop talent acquisition plans for the business unit and ensure achievement of recruiting goals. + Assist the Director of Talent Acquisition in overseeing SBU recruiting team. Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. + Minimum of 7+ years of progressive HR experience and talent acquisition, in the engineering, construction, and telecommunications environment. + Strong business acumen and the ability to align and implement corporate HR. + Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, talent acquisition, and organizational development. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. + Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and drive strategic decisions. + HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred. **Abilities:** + Exposure to computer screens for an extended period. + Sitting for extended periods of time. + Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction. + Have finger dexterity to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands arms, for example, using a keyboard. + Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. + Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand. + Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing. + Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense. + Identify and understand the speech of another person.
