The Opportunity We are looking for a HR Business Partner to support our growing team in Bangalore, India. This position partners with multiple leaders and employees across our Engineering and Product / R&D teams in India as well as with the broader global HR team. The role translates overall company strategy to the functional teams it supports and implements programs to achieve the business strategy. This role is instrumental in creating a culture that enables our talented teams to do their best work. The ideal candidate is passionate about people and wants to make an impact on our culture and our success. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, HR in India. What You'll Do Coach and advise management to ensure the organization structure and roles within the business and talent are optimal for driving business success. Execute and provide valuable insights, advice, guidance, and coaching to managers on all HR aspects - talent management, compensation & benefits, training and development, performance management, employee engagement and retention and more. Work cohesively with HR COEs to support development of programs needed in your functional areas. Connect with employees on a regular basis to proactively identify people needs, talent requirements and address them. Work closely with managers and employees to improve and maintain work relations. Manage and resolve employee relation issues. Be responsible (lead and execute) for the employees’ life cycle, from pre boarding, through on boarding and off boarding. Ensure legal compliance and provide guidance in local employment laws, processes, and policies. Responsible for all HR administration and point of contact for office operations. This includes maintaining employee data, report creation, data and predictive analytics. Ensure all compliance requirements are met. Work with the global HR and COE team on design, development and integration of HR processes, practices, programs, and initiatives. Engage, partner, and consult with recruitment to meet talent acquisition needs. What You'll Bring 5+ years of experience in a similar position in a global high-tech company, working with all levels of employee and leaders. Experience working with Engineering, R&D, Product functions in a software business. True passion for people, great listening ability and a positive thinking. You must be a self-starter, independent who knows what really matters and proactive. A great team player with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead the way with empathy and assertiveness. Ability to build strong relationships, effectively collaborate with stakeholders and be trusted advisor to managers and employees. Creative problem solver with ability to navigate through changes and get things done. Strong business acumen, good understanding of the business environment and goals with a proven track record of business successful work relationships across HR and other business functions Fluent English, written and verbal. A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or a related field. Proficient with Microsoft tools and HR systems Knowledge of OD models and best practices Experience in recruitment.
