British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for an HR Communication Specialist in Bucharest

The objective of this role is to be responsible for the area of internal/ external HR communication driving the communication efforts for BAT overseeing the HR internal communication through implementation and execution of HR comms cycle plans, ensuring that People agenda and progress are communicated effectively.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Propose and develop a strategic HR communication plan to support our Employee Engagement strategy & People Agenda.Liaise with Communication teams from other DRBUs to get best practices in place and ensure any communication materials are in line with BAT EVP branding.Customize HR communication campaign materials to support the needs.Support and execute engagement with relevant stakeholders. Engage with colleagues across the Area through a range of channels, ensuring they understand People Agenda and upcoming initiatives.Contribute to issues definition, objective formulation, mapping of the key audiences, influencers and processes; campaign strategy definition; options evaluation and testing, definition of narrative, compelling evidence, champions, cycle plan of communication and activities.Implement Internal Communications tools, cycle planning and content to make sure that employees are aware of and engaged.Create videos, presentations, and other multimedia content to showcase company culture, events, and HR initiatives.Capture and edit photos and videos from internal events to create engaging post-event recaps.Develop highlight reels and creative storytelling pieces that showcase company culture and employee engagement.

What are we looking for?

University Degree preferable in Communications, Business, or International Relations.3 – 5 years’ experience in internal/ external communication.A corporate communication professional with proven experience in developing and implementing communication campaigns using a variety of media with previous experience in HR communications, employer branding, or corporate marketing.Abilities to proactively drive and engage in cross-functional teams to drive internal communication.Developing and implementing communication campaigns using a variety of media.Able to contribute to planning and strategy development of the HR communications campaigns.Can write, edit, and present for a variety of channels, in an appropriate style for the audience, clearly and concisely.Strong storytelling and copywriting skills for newsletters and internal communication.Experience in SMM and employer branding, ideally in an HR or corporate setting.Proficiency in content creation tools (Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Canva, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and experience with video editing, photography, and graphic design.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Proficiency in English and Romanian.Strong written and verbal communication skills.
