HR Compliance Partner

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The HR Compliance Partner will work on the centralized HR Compliance Team and will be responsible for the development and administration of HR compliance programs, candidate background adjudication, drug screening policies, and compliance reporting and document management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Reviews and makes hiring eligibility determinations through background interpretation and adjudication.   Communicates regularly with the field HR representatives regarding candidate statuses and issues.Conducts compliance and eligibility screenings through an interactive process with candidates.   Maintains and tracks compliance adjudication data and administers interactions and regulatory adverse action reporting requirements with impacted candidates.Ensures regulatory compliance and provides research support for business stakeholders consulting on Human Resources policies, processes and procedures.ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or EquivalentPreferred Degree:  Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related fieldCertificate(s) or License(s): PHR, SPHR preferredYears of experience:  2+ years of professional HR Experience 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

Exposure to and knowledge of new hire onboarding processesAbility to manage multiple, complex projects concurrentlyExcellent oral and written communication skills.Excellent customer service skillsAbility to comprehend, interpret and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances and company policies.Strong computer skills.Excellent organizational skills.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Less than 5%. In general travel would only be required for special training or a gathering of the remote group.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

Performs duties within scope of general company policies, procedures, and objectives. Analyzes problems and performs needs assessments. Uses judgment in adapting broad guidelines to achieve desired result. Regular exercise of independent judgment within accepted practices. Makes recommendations that affect policies, procedures, and practices.
