Job Description


Our HR Coordinator is responsible for supporting a variety of human resources activities and functions. This role includes coordinating HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee benefits administration. You will assist in maintaining HR records, respond to employee inquiries, and help ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. Additionally, you will support HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs and performance management processes.

 

Qualifications

 

Minimum age of 18 years old

2 years of experience in human resources or administrative support, preferably in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of HR functions and best practices

Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HRIS systems

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and tablets

Ability to pass a drug screen

Provide essential administrative support to the HR department in various HR functions

Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews

Maintain accurate and organized employee records and files, ensuring compliance with confidentiality policies

Coordinate and schedule employee orientations, onboarding activities, and training sessions

Assist in benefits administration, including benefits enrollment, changes, and addressing employee inquiries

Prepare and distribute HR-related communications and notices to employees

Assist in maintaining and updating HR documentation, including policies, procedures, and employee handbooks

Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits

Support the performance appraisal process by tracking deadlines, preparing documentation, and assisting in the appraisal process

Assist in employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and grievance handling

Prepare employment verification letters and other HR-related correspondence as needed

Coordinate and organize employee recognition programs and initiatives

Maintain HR databases and systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity

Assist in HR compliance efforts by staying informed about labor laws and regulations

Support HR projects and initiatives, such as diversity and inclusion programs

Coordinate employee offboarding processes, including exit interviews and documentation

Assist in workplace health and safety programs and compliance efforts

Manage HR-related invoicing and billing processes, including vendor payments

Like to build long term relationships with your customers

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents 

Physical activity may include:

Position is generally sedentary, sitting for long periods of time, with occasional mobility in an office environment

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by an office environment

Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of adaptive technologies or methods as necessary

Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means

Tasks may involve repetitive motions of the wrists, hands and or fingers due to continuous typing or writing
