Job Summary:
The HR Coordinator will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource department. This role will report to the remote HR Manager, with a dotted line to the site leader. This is a salaried non-exempt position for 40 hours a week.
You will make an impact in the following way:
Assists with day-to-day HR activities, including recruiting, onboarding, attendance and disciplinary tracking, PTO and holiday tracking, policy compliance, training, special projects, and planning of special events. Manages payroll by approving hours, maintaining system accuracy, and answering employee questions. Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, documentation, and SAP/ ADP while maintaining confidentiality and personal integrity. Performs periodic audits as needed. Maintains the office through assigned administrative duties such as sorting and distributing mail, preparing documents, maintaining office supplies, and solving problems. Answers frequently asked questions relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
What you will bring:
Education – Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent experience required. Experience – 3+ years’ experience in HR preferred. Knowledge – Employment Law, Microsoft Office, Outlook, HRIS (SAP or ADP). Language Skills – Fluent in English required, bilingual in Spanish preferred.
