HR Coordinator

MAU is hiring a Temporary HR Coordinator for our client in North Charleston, SC. As a Temporary Human Resources Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to the HR team, assist with onboarding, maintain employee records, and ensure compliance with company policies. (This is a short-term opportunity: 3 – 6 months).

Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (Human Resources preferred) 2+ years of HR or administrative experience Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices
General Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Preferred Requirements Experience with HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft or UKG Familiarity with E-Verify and Form I-9 compliance Previous experience in employee onboarding and record-keeping
Essential Functions Assist with onboarding, including pre-employment screenings and new hire orientation Maintain employee records (both paper and electronic) Support HR functions, including payroll data entry and benefits administration Ensure compliance with USCIS Form I-9 and E-Verify processes Organize training sessions and HR-related events Generate reports and track HR activities Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed
Work Environment or Working Conditions Responsibilities may be performed in an office setting with moderate noise levels
Physical Demands
May require sitting for extended periods and occasional light lifting
Travel
Minimal travel may be required for meetings and onboarding activities
