_Troy, MI, USA_ | _Full Time_ **Job Title:** Human Resources Coordinator **FLSA:** Exempt **Prepared By:** Corporate Human Resources **Prepared Date:** February 21, 2025 **SUMMARY** As a member of the corporate Human Resources team this role the Human Resources Coordinator will play a key role in the administration, compliance, and employee experience for Champion Homes. This role will focus on supporting activities in both our US and Canadian operations while reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources. Core responsibilities will include payroll and benefits administration, data entry and analysis, and assisting with special projects as needed. **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Provides excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. + Acts as a main point of contact for benefits and payroll assistance for employees and leaders within both corporate and manufacturing plants. + Enters and keeps employee information as related to payroll and benefits up to date within Champion Homes' HRIS system, UKG Pro. + Will assist with the coordination of information and assistance to employees, health care providers, insurance carriers and other third-party administrators. + Performs administrative tasks associated with benefits and payroll including enrollment, new hire entry, terminations, and changes. + Compiles data driven reports for both payroll and benefits. + Ensures timely EDI between payroll/HRIS and vendors online systems and updates as necessary. + Conducts research and partners with corporate Human Resource team members to provide answers to employee questions. + May review updates to employment law, and policies to ensure compliance of benefits and payroll programs and processes. + Coordinates certain activities related to the administration of Champion's leave of absence programs with the external leave administrator. + Helps facilitate open enrollment process, including preparing enrollment communication and materials, scheduling and assisting with employee meetings. + Processes and maintains records for the retirement program. + Maintain benefit invoices for accuracy against employee benefit plans, coverage levels, and payroll data to identify any discrepancies or errors. + Performs special projects as needed by the corporate Human Resources team. + Other related duties as assigned. **QUALIFICATIONS** + B.S. in Human Resource Management, Business, or similar required. + At least two years of experience in a Human Resources position preferred. + Experience with using UKGPro is highly preferred. + Canadian benefits knowledge and experience, preferred. **EEO Statement** Champion Home Builders is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
